The Preschool Preview: An Early Childhood Education Fair connects families with young  children that value education with representatives from local preschools, community  organizations, and experts in the field of early childhood education. This event will showcase a variety of programs - academic preschools, mother’s day out  program, special needs, gifted, traditional, Montessori, art/science/music/sport-focused camps for young children and childcare options as well — to educate parents about how to find the  right program for their child. Compare preschool programs side by side under one roof Learn about how to prepare your child for success in school by age 6 Explore different types of educational businesses and organziations Enjoy free family fun including arts and crafts, local entertainment, and much more! Learn about the best local preschool and kindergarten programs, camps, childcare options, and the and service providers for families with special needs, what they offer and how they can help your child excel.

School Choice is a publication of Our Austin  City Kids that debuted in the Fall of 2011.  Created by parents for parents, School  Choice features articles on educational topics  that impact our community.   Articles are submitted by educators and  leaders in the education industry. We are  currently accepting articles.  Articles should be timely and of interest to  parents, educators and/or students. Articles  can be anywhere from 500 to 3000 words in  length.
